  1. Interesting dream. Putting it together with your video, here is what I saw and heard. The dream is not about the movie. The dream is about you and your state of awareness. Symbols I noticed in your description are: Star Wars movie which is fiction. Dark counsel is how you imagine the inner workings of your own “dark side”. Darth Vader represents how you perceive your own authority as it relates to your dark side or those things about yourself you consider evil. Urinating is getting rid of waste products.

The overall sense of the dream that I see is you do not take yourself seriously. I know you said you don’t take the movie seriously, but the dream is about you. Bowing to Darth Vader relates to Korean heritage. Don’t know if you were raised with those values, but this indicates you have some connection to them. Your body language when you were speaking about it also leads me to that conclusion. You were overly self-effacing for a moment. You imitated the action quite clearly indicating a deference to authority no matter whether good or evil — and even knowing when it is evil but deferring anyway because it is the custom.

The urination part is about getting rid of these ideas about yourself. Getting rid of waste products that no longer serve the functioning of the body is what urination is all about.

Now whether you are in the process of taking yourself more seriously, or considering it or ignoring it I can’t say. There was not enough detail there to tell me which way you are going with it. Another thought I had was that the changes are occurring without your conscious attention because you were unaware and urinated involuntarily.

What do you think about my interpretation?

    • I think it’s an awesome alternate angle. I have been undoing a lot of unhealthy habits lately so that whole thing about getting ride of waste does resonate with me. And as a result, I take myself less seriously now.

There’s a “dark side” to me indeed, and I guess if that’s what Vader represented in that dream, I don’t take him seriously either. It’s a part of me for better or for worse, but it does not constitute my entire identity. Knowing that allows me to embrace and appreciate my light side more, giving it more nourishment and time to shine through the darkness.

However, I am not Korean, and I’ve just been watching a lot of Korean dramas which is why I had that thought in my dream. It’s something I notice when I started watching them, that they bow to each other with a light nod or even a full forward bend to greet each other or say their farewells. Before I got used to it, I kept having the thought of “oh that’s interesting, that’s how they acknowledge each other there.”

That last paragraph though, it is eerily reassuring. I do wonder what ARE the unconscious and involuntarily changes occuring in me thanks to all that waste management…it’s something I’m gonna have to dig deep about it.

Thank you very much for the prompt!
