Goliath Blog Series and Novel Writing: Update April 2022

Hey, everyone!

I just wanted to give quick a massive thanks to you all for reading, liking, and following my blog. It’s a tremendous pleasure to be writing about things I’m passionate about, being able to share it all with the world, and receiving comments about how helpful and useful my posts have been.

Ever since 2022 began, I’ve consistently written and published two blog posts a week—one for Meaningful Mondays and another for Workshop Wednesdays—and cannot believe that I was able to achieve such a feat. Especially considering how lengthy and in-depth a lot of these posts have been, but either way, it’s been a blast!

With the last post I wrote to top off the Therapeutic Journaling series, I think it was time to give the blog a bit of a rest for now and switch gears to writing a novel once again. So for the next little while, I will be writing the fifth (and hopefully final) draft of It Starts at Home now that I’m finally financially and emotionally stable enough to focus on it without much of a hindrance. God forbid one shows up, or my resistance to it starts acting up again, I think I’ll have the resilience to take on the challenge and push through anyway.

I will definitely get back into Creative Consulting again sometime this year, but for now I’d like to see if I can even coach myself into writing on a consistent basis and see what strategies work for cultivating a creative and disciplined workflow. Then, and only then, do I think I’ll deserve and be confident enough to get back in the game I’ve left on pause since 2017.

  • Meaningful Mondays: Mondays are notorious for feeling a sense of dread for the start of a new week, but they don’t have to be. Here we squash the Monday Blues with meaning by discussing life, love, art, and everything else in between.

  • Workshop Wednesdays: Wednesday is the mid-week waking day where productivity is usually at its peak. What better way to capitalize on this surge of energy than to sharpen up your writing skills with some writing tips?
